Has anyone else noticed..?

On the side of their internet page, alongside the vertical scrollbar, a little advertisement thing for Dell? You click on it and it opens up this little mini clip advertisement for one of their new computers. Is it just me or does everybody get this?

Yes, this may come as a shock to you, but internets pages can have advertising. What is more, the advertisers actually PAY to have their ads displayed!  :-o

Right click a thread, open in new window, head to the index, and bookmark.

This was something I did before even posting. It makes linking to other threads possible, and cuts out the site wrap.

Yeah, I know that.
I just thought it was an unusual spot on a page for advertising and on some pages I didn't have it, and wanted to know if everyone else was experiencing the same issue.

It's an informal short form version of "advertisements" and as such has no approved or predefined spelling.

And it's pronounced "add", so why can't it be spelt so.
