Yeah, most of the movies I enjoy seem to be embarrassing ones that were a flop at the box office.

Corpse Bride for example. When I saw that in the cinema, my friend and I were the only ones there.

I loved the Corpse Bride. I think there were about 6 people in the cinema when I saw it, but that's pretty normal for me.

Yes this corpse bride intrigues me, the Tim Burton thing right?

Ahhh, tight arse Tuesday is the shit. $20 for La Premiere, all you can eat popcorn and free soft drink. Except they give you smaller cups and if you try and fill up the popcorn ones they will leak all over you.  :x

Across the universe looks good, but is it a musical or a film? I couldnt tell from the shorts, and i cant stand friggin musicals.

Anyway Melbourne Cup Time!

I have yet to see The Nightmare Before Christmas. It came out many moons ago but I just haven't gotten around to it. And then when I want it, I find out that it is one of the most stolen movies at our local video shop.  :x

Nightmare is great.
I used to have it on video but I watched it so many times it went all funny so I got the DVD.

Other Tim Burton movies I love:
- Beetlejuice
- Ed Wood
- Edward Scissorhands
and if you get the Nightmare special edition it had Vincent and Frankenweenie on it too.

And I can't wait for Sweeney Todd. YAY.

I used to work with a dude called Todd Sweeney.

Freaky.

Another movie that looks like its worth watching is 'The Fly'. Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis 1986. Simpsons did a parody of it in one of their Treehouse of Horror shows: 'Bartfly'. Anyone seen the film? Gets good reviews but never heard it mentioned before.

Ahem... you forget that the forum is not just filled with 14yo fangirls...

Anyway, first time I saw it it was pretty well terrifying. I saw it again recently and laughed. A lot. Which is not to say it is in any way a bad film.... it's just that Geena Davis with 80's hair is unintentionally hilarious...

Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

Beautiful film version of a modern theatrical masterpiece.
