well observers didnt know the inner working of what interactions had taken place between CK and myself, so clearly, they were not able to judge the behaviour they witnessed....

what..that he followed you back to your place one night and tried to snog you?

i would have thought that would be a very good reason *not* to offer a hug...

yak... really I was trying to be polite. I'm sure that was the episode that I had a very close friend with me, and I was still working out what was the best way to handle CK, particularly after receiving some information.

and after all, we cant all be as cold hearted as you!

it's not cold-hearted. it's a matter of defining your personal boundaries.

i realise CK can be a bit weird. i've told him that  (and yes, i'm aware of the 'information' that you're probably talking about..). but he also has some good qualities which is why i don't treat him like a complete shit or ignore him altogether.

at the same time you need to put boundaries in place - it's easy to deflect an awkward moment when someone you're uncomfortable with invades your personal space...just don your nutter hat and say you're not in the mood for a hug, or you're not touchy-feely (difficult to pull off though, if you're an obsessed air-kisser type), or just squeal 'no no no!' in an amusing way so they get the hint...then quickly jump onto another topic to diffuse any awkwardness.

but then, you're only 17, so i suppose you'll figure all this shit out when you have enough experiences of sex-starved blokes following you home because you've left them with the wrong impression  :-P

Its nice to see that you can be so objective in this situation, you know hearing CK's side of it, hearing my side of it. so kind of you

you dont know me so i'll give you a few details. when guys get too intense, I run for the hills. Maybe youre right, maybe I am just a naive little prick tease (im reading between the lines of your post) because its happened a few times, where I've actually been stalked by guys. not fun.

on a serious (and not sarcastic teal) note, thanks for the advice on personal boundaries. i know sometimes I do give out the wrong signals, and I make an effort to verbalise my lack of interest. but its something i hate doing because i feel so shit afterwards, particularly when theyre a nice guy

I know CK has good qualities. and I can see youre defending a friend, which makes me respect you.

Leah has good qualities too...quite a few actually. Seeing as you don't know her or know the entire situation you shouldn't be making comments about it.
Don't worry Leah I love yah!

For what it's worth, I got told your side of the story first (via other channels obviously - so who knows the accuracy..) and then went and confronted CK about it to see what the go was.

In the end it was a 'had to be there to know what really went on' kind of situation, but when I saw  you act that way at the taping it kinda tainted my view a bit.

But hey. I guess most of us were probably naive little prick teasers when we were 17 :P Just be careful (that could sound like a threat in text, but it's not..just to clarify).

Hey.  I'm quite emotionally starved too, you know.

And give a guy a break for trying something for the first time in his life.  The world is complicated enough already, telling you to be confident and careful at the same time, without a commentary track in public thanks.

CK.

Wow, how's this for narcissistic nostalgia - the first ep I'm 'back' and we're talking about things I know about 'cause I was there!

The world is a very, very balanced place.

Anyway, back on uncringeworthy topics... zomg ep 20 fun ay???

*brings hands together*

Just as the nature of warehouses are forever closing, contrary is the nature of everywhere internet - perpetually opening.
