OK. I mentioned this in an email to Gregor after he messaged me to tell me to pull my head in after two of my posts were reported the other day, but I'm going to add it here as well.
I reckon the forum should have an "Adults Only" play area.
Basically, it would be an area of no moderation (i.e. the report button is out of bounds) and users will distinctly know what they are getting themselves into if they decide to post there. It would be "Adults Only" in name only - obviously there's no way to police the age thing (well there is, but it's too much work to set up) - but if people make the choice to read/post there then they can't complain about the consequences. Of course there'd be some stipulations in place (i.e. no illegal shit) but it would basically be a place where the grumpy old bastards and the clamouring fantwats wouldn't antagonise each other.
I reckon this would work because the grumpy old bastards would have their own area to be arses in without being pissed off by the idiotic and inane banter of the fantwats, and the fantwats would get to circlejerk over Andrew's pubes to their heart's content without being savaged by the grumpy old bastards.
We could call it "The Badlands" or something equally as trite
Whaddya reckon? Sound OK, or should we just rely on natural selection to weird out the weaker members?
