What pisses me off even more is that the 60 seconds seems to start all over again if you try to post before its up. And then it tells you the post has already been entered, so you have to re-load the topic as well. Very annoying if you have slow internet >_>.

As a constant shameless upper of post count, I can tell you this gets very annoying.

If you all didn't feel the urge to post every second, you wouldn't be so annoyed by it, would you?

I have the urge to post every thirty seconds. Almost as uncomfortable as having to hold onto a full bladder during sport. Holding on for that other 30 seconds that is.

well, see, you're also at a disadvantage if you're a computer whiz...if you type quickly/mouse quickly etc, then your overall usage of the site is quicker...and you feel the effects of this crap rule even more.

So the solution isn't to decrease the flood timer, but to bludgeon yourself into a state of retardation instead.

Not five minutes... unless you forget that you need to wait 60 seconds. Just become a chameleon and have one eye on the clock and one eye on the screen and you're set.
