Add the page people and help out a fellow fan.  Together we can make a difference.

you can listen to bad music on a horrible webpage while slitting your wrists over the despair of climate change?

I haven't checked it out, though.

You know, if we all suicide'd over it, it probably would help.

Okay, I'll add you.

Only because I'm an activist against Climate Change, and because it has Tim Minchin in the top friends.

Err.. One problem.... By using myspace in the first place, aren't we adding to climate change?

Well it's either myspace or I start chopping down a tree and sending a letter to my friends everytime I want to say hello!  :-)

Sorry, but I don't seem to understand how adding some page to my friend list is going to make a difference. If you really do care about this issue, then do something about. Make an action plan. Don't depend on some silly little myspace group to do it for you.

And what are you personally doing to aid the problem?

Some people would say that things like this are designed to show support and prove to the world that people care. Back in the Howard days, when we had a PM who didn't believe that CC was a problem, planting a tree or switching the lights off wasn't going to show him that people believed in it and wanted something done. Something like this, however, has the potential to do so. It's a petition, in effect. No-one pretends it will fix the problem, it's about raising awareness.

Nothing. It doesn't concern me as much as it does for others. So I put my time and effort into solving my own problems. As cocky as that sounds, there's really nothing that one person can do. It's one of those things where we all have to work together.

The only problem I have with this guys post, was the fact that he said "add this page and together we can make a difference." First off, how is adding some page to your profile making a difference? I understand that it raises awareness of the this issue, but it does not in any way make a difference.
