Heya,

My names Angua, or Lucille (real name), depending on which forum im on at the time. U can call me what ever you like. I'm a huge fan of chaser, wait, change that, huge fan of australian comedy. All started with a CD of the Doug Anthony All Stars and gradually my joy for this subject grew to include all types of comedy from all around the world. I was also privilidged to see the final ever Lano and Woodley show in Melbourne in 2006 and was even more privilidged to be able to go up on stage with Col and Frank when Frank fell from the roof into a firemans blanket. Exciting stuff.

I am also a musician, playing flute, trumpet, piano, voice, piccolo, recorder and the horn for a while now, but my flute and voice are my main attributes. I am also currently involved with the Marie Clarke Singers in Adelaide performing Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. I'm only playing a slave/prisoner and ishmolite (where i have to wear a muslim headdress that doesnt fit very well), but its all good fun pretending to be able to dance and falling on ur arse at least 3 times a night.

Otherwise, my life is pretty much filled up with work, uni, reheasles and trying to sleep (insomnia is a bitch).

But i am also on the lookout for more friends with similar interests and am looking forward to meeting people on this forum.

I'm not too up on the actual show, but Frank Woodley is terrible on TGYH. He always like laughs and just breaks the scene all the time. I hate it when they break the scene.

Insomnia eh? Have you tried:

  • Journalling
  • Hot milk before bed
  • Long walks on the beach
  • Making lists on forums

I hear they're useful...

No sarcasim (cant spell) detected. Tehe.

Yeah ive tried a variety of methods to combat the insomnia ranging from medications (including diazapane (a type of antipsycotic) which i wouldnt recommend to anyone), herbal medications, relaxation, mediation and even things like not reading in bed and drinking warm milk. Nothing worked, so just have to put up with it.

Yeah Ishmaelites i think thats how its spelt. Im not sure. Cant spell for penuts.

Yeah Frank does laugh a lot, but when u see him on standup stage or in the series he is very funny. I think he laughs a lot when hes nervous. He was really good in the original series, but now hes not as flash.

Yeah music huge part of my life!! But i still wish i could be as good as Andrew Hansen. My piano and guitar skills leave much to be desired. tehe.

Is anyone else here a fan of the fantastic leslie?? It was through Cameron Bruce from that band who brought me to the chaser. So kudos to Cameron.

Ahh Well i would love to be able to even think about seeing the show, but unfortunately its in Sydney. Damn Adelaide being so far away and being so broke i cant afford a flight/bus/train over.  :-(
