Bushisms in Sydney
« on: September 07, 2007, 07:24:47 PM »

His 4 nights here is the longest stay in any foreign place since he became president. Possibly his longest stay ever :?

He called APEC OPEC

He couldn't pronounce Jimiah Islamir (I prolly can't spell it)

He called our troops Austrian troops

Surely there's more to add to the list

Jemaah Islamiah (some spell it Islamiyah).

Why does Bush remind me of Otto from A Fish Called Wanda?

"We did not lose Vietnam, it was a tie!"

"I love watching your ass when you walk. Is that beautiful or what? Don't go near him, he's mine!"

"Look, you obviously don't know anything about intelligence work, lady. It's an X-K-Red-27 technique."

Cheers GC

And where are those right wing defenders of the faith in our hour of need :?

I thought our little repartee of last week may have drawn one or 2 out of their holes, but it only drew a blank.

Are they that scared :? Are we that frightening :? Or are we just right all the time :? :-D

Great line from SMH today...................

"If only APEC organisers had thought to chopper in some interpreters from Texas. The US President, for whom the English language is not a tool so much as a room full of baited mousetraps, started the day in great form at the Opera House.........."

Yeah, maybe Bush is trying too hard. Stick to simple words.

"We should bomb Iraq"

Thats what he should have said.

"It's nice to be here in APEC"

Should have said that too. No more with long boring speeches of Bush. Although, it is pretty funny when he stuffs up a speech

Yeah.  It's like people making fun of Bush.  I mean, it's all very well to do a funny voice and act like a retard, but the joke's worn a bit thin now.

It still seems like the joke is on us- especially after the channel Ten late news referred to him as the world's most powerful man.
