a plea to the chaser group
« on: August 03, 2007, 01:31:15 AM »

Hi, I'm from Melbourne and I don't have the money to travel to Sydney to see Dead Caesar. PLEASE do some performances in Melbourne, but let me know beforehand so I can buy tickets before they're sold out!

Thanks.

Jimmy.

No worries Jim. We are quite willing to spend $50,000 to stage the show in Melbourne if it means you don't have to travel to Sydney. When we're ready to go, I'll be getting Chris to call every number in the Melbourne phone book to find you and let you know. Hopefully you are in phone book otherwise Chris is going to be really pissed off?

Make sure to fit in a detour to Perth as well while you're at it.

I live 15 minutes out of the city but couldn't be arsed getting in there to see the show, could you put on a private performance in my backyard?

I'm sure we could arrange that. At the present time that would be more likely to happen that the show going to Melbourne.

I get to Sydney quite a bit, but I'm a bit lukewarm on the show itself.  Can you do something with a bit more razzle-dazzle?  I'm thinking rollerskate spectacular...  with free piss.

Ooh yeah that would be great! If you do that show could you do that one in my backyard too? It's a bit bumpy but that will make for great physical comedy.

Maybe if we all ask really nicely, they'll do a performance in everyone's backyard.

I live in a flat.  But how about some kind of shadow projection show?  I have lovely walls for that kind of thing.  You could find the Balinese equivalent of Caesar and make a show about him.  I'm not sure how you make shadow puppet rollerskates though.

Hansen can play the angklung.

Brilliant!

Then they can do a performance at my place.  I have a very big backyard.

I'll ring all the Bendigo people to let them know.

Great work Mez!  I'll bring my picnic rug.

Maybe there is a part for your three legged cat in it!  We can dress her up as a lion.   :-)
