Thank you for "The Chaser's War on Everything"
« on: July 24, 2007, 10:23:08 AM »

We're extremely lucky to have people as talented, creative and charismatic as you creating this brilliant and important satirical show.

Through your careful attention to detail, fastidious and thorough research, and natural improvisational, musical and other performance talents, everything you guys touch turns to gold.

Your show elevates its viewers  by being one of the extremely rare cultural artifacts which raises the standard. I think this explains why your DVDs are consistently sold out wherever they are sold despite receiving absolutely no marketing, and why other heavily marketed shows barely sell any at all.

I admire all of you guys:
Craig Reucassel
Chas John Licciardello
Chris Taylor
Andrew Hansen
Charles Firth
Julian Morrow
Dominic Knight

Also all the extra brilliant writers, graphic artists, musicians, technicians, editors, and other creative talents who work on the show.

Please never ever be discouraged, keep up the excellent work, and thank you deeply for creating this show.

Awesome...

I'm assuming you meant to type Chas with a s, though....

But yes, fix your spelling. No-one knows who Chaz or Cris are.

Its awful to misspell somebody's name, especially when you're trying to express your admiration and appreciation for what that person has done.

Here is the list with the spelling errors and typos corrected:

Craig Reucassel
Chas John Licciardello
Chris Taylor
Andrew Hansen
Charles Firth
Julian Morrow
Dominic Knight

Further to what I've said, I am in awe of the courage these guys demonstrate in making this show and I am very thankful that it exists. It is a much needed sanctuary in a society saturated with illusion and deceit.

I hope this is the right forum to express these sentiments.

I've just noticed - this forum allows you to modify your old posts - thats a bit weird, isn't it? Anyway, I've corrected the spelling in my initial post as well.

Maximising your carbon footprint:

1. Build coal power station in backyard
2. Import the coal from overseas
3. Arrange for trucks to deliver coal directly to your door
4. Use coal power station to power household appliances
5. Instead of putting excess power capacity back into the grid, create nightly lightning and fireworks displays

Wow - my lame joke offended you that much Keridwen??

I've obviously stumbled into some sort of exclusive club, if my simple, boring posts are causing you to become so upset.

Geeze - narcissist. Who says I was referring to your lame joke? I was referring to "people". It comes from working in retail. People who waddle and talk to you for ages about their dog's puppies or their grandkids' possession of scooters really gets you down.
