Charity AFL Game
« on: July 13, 2007, 07:29:24 PM »

Is anyone going to see the Swans Vs Carlton AFL match at the SCG on Sunday?

Redkite have their annual charity match on before the game and Chas and Craig are both playing in it. If I could stomach AFL, I'd be there.

While people like you get to choose whether to go or not, and decide NOT, people like me can't go  at all, for lack of funds for plane tickets.  :x :x :x

Be thankful of your position*

No offence intended, I'm just feeling sorry for myself.

I unfortunately support Carlton so going to the match would be good for two reasons.

Carlton will still get flogged and it's too bad that I can't travel to Sydney to see them lose.

I'll be there.  :-D

I've never been to an AFL game before, so I decided a few months ago that I'd go to one and that this game would be the one. And then this morning I found out they'd be there.
It was meant to be.

I wouldn't mind going to that match. My friend adores the Swans and we always say we'll go to a game together.. Craig and Chas being there gives us more reason to go  :-D

Good luck getting tickets - with the stadium under development there aren't many public seats.

In order to gain kudos with you forum freaks, I'll see if I can take some photos.

How can you expect to have better photos when you have never been to an AFL game ? :P You'll probably just be zooming in on their arses... oh wait, most of you would like that wouldn't you?

Exactly.
Once I've got the majority onside (ie. the fangirls) I will have won.  :-)

Does anyone know who all the players were and which team won?
