Well, us people in the know were already aware that other countries are interested in the show.

They say towards the end of the article though, that people o/s can download the vodcasts, but I didn't think that was possible. I thought I read somewhere that the site notes the ISP and won't let any ISP's out of Australia download them... Or is it something I thought I read?

I am really not sure about the overseas website thing

But I think that they should also include how many people download it from torrents even know that would be kind of difficult, I know that when i download it there are a lot of overseas people. So i think its a great idea to sell it over seas.

I don't get it from the abc website, because i don't like the quality but its no problem with me i get it another way. I still think it shows my support for the show, and like the article says people downloading has actually increased how many people buy the dvds. Which is not surprising really, I am happy that ABC actually admitted that was the case,  as most commercial networks say that downloading decreases them.

I don't think so. From what I've been told, it's going into a hiatus for ten weeks and then they'll finish off the rest of season 2.

I think it's funny the article says that "However, network spokesman Peter Ritchie said the ABC could not confirm this.", but at the taping's the boys are quite open about it and where it's going to. Isn't that enough of a confirmation for them? Straight from the horses mouth.

That and "A source close to the show said ABC had sold repackaged episodes to TV networks in European countries like Finland and Germany.". Going with the whole journalist stereotype thing the "close" source could very well be a one time taping attender.  
Hat's off to that journalist!

... And on another note, I hope we can get a hold off these versions somehow. The intro to "Cracked Pepper" this week was 10 times funnier than the original. I was nearly in tears!

The channel they are gonna be on in Finland is FST... but reading wikipedia, it is the "department which provides television programmes in the Swedish language in Finland. The channel is mainly intended as a public service channel for the Swedish-speaking minority of Finland"
I'm curious... are there any other English-speaking programmes on this channel?

Jackass is fairly hit and miss. They do to many stupid stunts and gross out things to be a really funny program, but Terror Taxi was very funny.

Personal opinion time! I never liked Jackass, I find the Chaser boys have more class.... Strange but true. It's not quite how I'd like to explain it, but what's in my head wouldn't make sense if I tried to post it.

Jackass are on MTV and therefore have a hardtime stringing sentances which aren't teleprompted.
