an enormous health concern in third world nations, pity genetic modification of food is so evil.

Interesting theory Nick2, and I could bet on it.  But I might stick to the dishlickers if it is all the same to you.

From an environmental view, GM is wildly exciting but a wee bit frightening.  It even has scary names like 'terminator seeds.'  I read once about plants with a jellyfish gene that would glow a little when they required watering.  Awesome.  But then the risk of species spreading, threats to biodiversity etc bum me out.

Killing two birds with one stone, eh?

I don't have a problem with GM foods, mainly because I don't know much about them. The only problem I have is that if we continue with GM in foods, how long till we try it on humans?

I wonder if they could develop something that you eat, and it continues to grow in your stomach.

Maybe we should just get everyone in third world countries to eat a male and a female rabbit whole. They'll multiply just as quickly as the body uses them.

Normally I'd show cautionary concern over such bold cutting edge science Waltrow, but I'll admit there's a certain attraction in turning my bowels into a bustling rabbit warren.
