well i was thinking of some skits the Chaser could do and i came up with these..

*Torchwood: Andrew=Jack Harkness  cause he can do a good american accent.  (as seen with 'good night and good lung cancer") possibly paying out aliens, bisexuals etc

*Ad road test: for the lotto ad "its the big red ball that makes dreams come true" where the chaser could possibly roll that big red ball around peoples homes / businesses (for example parliament house to help peter costello become PM...)

I've been a member here for quite a while apparently, although I've only just started my lurking recently, which means that this is the first time I've spoken up about something.
And anyway, I'm speaking up to say that I totally love this idea.
And that I definately agree with you on the Andrew = Jack thing.
Being a fellow Who and Chaser fan, I think it would be delightful.

theres quite a few of these threads that keep popping up because people stop posting in them, and somebody else comes along and thinks, "oh well i can't see one, so i'll create a new one." so we get a hundred suggestions threads.

A couple of suggestions here,

Under fake names, submit several typical "I have a problem I want to tell ACA or TT so I can get on TV" on their websites.

If, by chance, they decide to film your story, have someone from the Chaser team make up ridiculous, perhaps offensive, bullcrap during the interview, and see how long the journalist will continue the interview until he realizes he's been had.

Even if it won't be filmed on their station, it might prove to be a good laugh.

Also for the Fixers, the media has been relatively quiet about Bush stll failing to justify his reason for invading Iraq, to which he's probably relieved.

But should the issue ever come up again in the near future, encourage the relevant authorities that termites, are extremely destructive bioligical weapons, and if sufficient populations are found being housed in Iraq, it might be the new finding that could save old "Dubya's" neck.

Just a comment that the current affairs thing wouldn't work, since current affairs journalists all religiously watch the Chaser. As do a lot of politicians. They are well known amongst their common targets, (perhaps) unfortunately.
...although my uncle's PR company is making a mint teaching B-listers how to deal with semi-vandalistic comedy hoons, just in case.

This thread doesn't deserve a sticky, but since it is, I'll take advantage of it.

I only have one suggestion, and it's expressed as a image:

They should do a segment called “What if Monty Python was real”

They go around in public doing random Monty Python skits such as

*Mr. Creosote (Chris Taylor in a fat suit) goes to a restaurant and does the whole vomit and exploding thing.

• Dead Parrot sketch: They go to a pet shop with a dead parrot and do the whole dead parrot sketch to an unexpected pet store owner

*If life was a musical The Lumberjack Song: Sing the Lumberjack song have Andrew be the lumberjack and have the rest of the chaser cast as the Mounties but add their own take to it.

*Find The Fish: But call it “Find the Weapons of Mass Destruction”

I would like them to do Death again but you can only tell a joke once……………

I think the Lumberjack Song's a great idea. Andrew would be a great Lumberjack.

Maybe u guys should actually check to see whether or not you can actually get arrested from j-walking; perhaps just j-walking in a random street, then working up to getting dressed up in a huge purple J and walk up and down the road outside the Sydney Police Station?
