"FLOOD AID" BENEFIT CONCERT AT CORDUCCI VALE WINERY
« on: June 13, 2007, 12:25:12 PM »

G'day all and weclome to an important thread that affects us all

For years Mr Duncan Emelio Corducci has been aware of the plight of the battler, and having come from humble origins himself he is well aware of tough things can get, especially for those making a living  through farming etc.

Over the last week Mr Corducci has been DEEPLY distressed to see ther damage that the floods have caused to areas around Newcastle and other areas of N.S.W.

This prompted Mr Corducci to do SOMETHING and while he thought that a simple donation of money would be good, he knew that to RAISE AWARENESS of floods and the damage that they can do to families etc he knew that something much BIGGER WOULD NEED TO BE DONE.

After calling around and talking to various folks in the industry Mr Corducci has decided to follow the popular trend of hosting a BENEFIT CONCERT at the 12,000 hectare winey in Bega.

When the word got out that this was happening four of Australias GREATEST MUSICAL TALENTS decided to lend their assistance FREE OF CHARGE and they are:

Mr Barry Crocker

In his own words:

When i heard that Duncan was putting on this event I immediatley signed on. I have known Duncan for a good number  of  years now and I am fully aware of his charity work with migrant workers and the homeless. This is going to be a blast!

Mr Jimmy Barnes

In his own words:

"I first met Dunco at a Cold Chisel show at the Bondi Lifesaver in 1986. He was a top fuckin bloke then and still is today which is why i signed on to do this project straight away."

Mr Jon English

In his own words:

"This old Tuscan rogue has been a mate of mine since the 70's. He always lends a hand where he can and I reckon this concert is going to make a big splash in the area of flood awareness. I cant wait."

Mr John Farnham:

In his own words:

"Flood awareness has to be raised in this cuntry and I think it will be a BBQ stopper at the next election. I cant wait to get out there and just SING!!!!["/i]

So there yoiu have it, this is going to be one AWESOME EVENT! Wine and food stalls, flood awareness workshops, showbag stalls etc. will be available on site as will portaloos and camping areas.

This is a two day event and the picres are as follows:

Family pass 1 day : $400 (showbags included with this deal)

Family pass 2 day: $670

Single pass 2 day only: $350

All chaser froum members will get discunts on all of these prices so act fart and message Mr Corducci with your credit card and bank account details. Home address is optional.

Hope to hear from you all soon

Mr Duncan Emelio Corducci

How good would a 'Camp Dunco' be!?!  :-P

Looking forward to the concert Dunco. I saw you out sandbagging the banks of the Hunter River in Maitland on Saturday, the locals were really pleased to see a celeb like yourself getting his hands dirty.

Mr Corducci will answer the questions in the order which they were posted.

1.The "act fart" was meant to say act fast. Mr CORDUCCI apologises.

2.A large portion of the winery has been reserved specifically for camping. As this is a two day event shower facilities and porta-loos are available. However, no pets will be allowed on the premises.

3.Mr Satis, its going to be a grat event and should raise alot of CASH for the flood victims. Local SES and firefighting crews have helped alot in converting the winery into a decent camping area and they have also done an awesome job in getting the three large stages and lighting set up.

When I saw the pic of Barry Crocker, I thought, "Hang on a mo', this is The Dunc dressed up as BC". Then I scrolled down, and the other likenesses totally blew me away.

So I'm looking forward to a cracker impersonation weekend. Please reserve 4 camping spots for my kids and their tribes. My wife and I will stay at the Chalet.

Cheers 'n Beers

Come on guys is this all you got. Dunc is pouring his heart into organising this event, how about we rally around and volunteer our services to make it happen.

I expect everyone on this forum to post and let me know what they can bring to the event.

That will be all

I will bring some bats. I want to see Crocker bite the head off one.

I may also smuggle in some alcohol.
