Craig has a funny face
« on: May 29, 2007, 10:43:42 PM »

Craig R has a cute, funny face, like a pixie or elf or goblin. He is funny when he pretends to look serious and frowns. (Like in the McDonald's sofa gag). I think he is naturally physically funny, so the other fellas have to work even harder.

This belongs on the freaky fan posts Bob. Besides- what on earth would motivate you to post this? What sort of response are you honestly hoping to get?

There are some people who are naturally funny, that's all, like Craig, or John Cleese or Paul McDermott, who has a chubby babyface like Craig. They have a physically cute funny appearance, especially when Craig appears to be serious, going back to Buster Keaton and Charles Chaplin. Enjoy the comedy. Don't be so serious. Lighten up!

Looking forward to the historic 400th post Uno.
I've discovered my feminine side!
I've read Germaine's "The Female Eunuch" and, more importantly, Simone de Beauvoir's "The Second Sex". I feel liberated!

For someone doing a lot of literary and pop-culture name-dropping, you sure do have some strange and pointless things to say, Atticus.

Bob!

Great post!  :-P

But you're right - the opening to WOE gets me in stitches just because of the face Craig pulls.  But I think one of the early shots in I am Thesaurus beats it.

Haha, nice to know I'm not the only one who finds that bit hilarious. XD

*snigger*

OK, that was a little bit good.
Thus proving it's not the face in and of itself that matters, it's what you do with the face that counts.

Craig tends to have a more triangular, pixie-like or elf face, and relatively large eyes. That's why it's funny when he pretends to be serious. I liked when he carried the sofa to the McDonald's playground, the deadpan expression is funny.
Paul McDermott has more chubby cheeks and a baby face, smaller eyes, almost angelic and cherubic. That's why Paul is entertaining because he alternates between being angelic, grinning like an old-fashioned choir-boy and then gesticulates and starts shouting and being nasty. People don't know what to expect, the contrast makes it exciting.

I just...
I'm not sure why I find your contemplations so utterly distubing, but I do.
It seems like a weird, geniunely stalker-like thing to fixate on.

He's also got a bit of a gap b/w his front teeth, which add to the goofiness... and the cuteness... but that's another thread.
