"Make Sydney Australia's Capital"
« on: May 24, 2007, 04:24:01 PM »

Paul Keating's at it again.

It would certainly annoy the Melbournians, anyway.

What would the city do if it wasn't the capital? The library would go from being the Australian National Library to "Canberra Municipal Library", the National Art Gallery, National Museum, National everything...

Isn't he dead yet? Probably should go back to banging his toy-boy and buying his antiques.

Ugh. Don't care, don't care, don't care. Sure, Sydney has the most going on but Canberra is just swell. It's a lovely capital. Very round.

:x I don't see why Sydney should be the capital of Australia.

I'm probably just bitter cause I'm Melburnian.

'Course. Pissing of the Melbournians is the only thing this plan has going for it!

It's never going to happen, but if Canberra was made redundant, and they had to choose a city... it'd certainly be Sydney.  8-)

I know Canberra was supposed to solve the Sydney vs. Melbourne issue but if the capital should be changed to anything else the logical solution would be Perth. That way the pollies would be as far away as possible from the majority of the population.

About 6, but I remember my parents teaching me to say 'Paul Keating is a dropkick'

Now that I've read a bit into his political career, I thank them for the brainswashing.

Now we have an election between two dropkicks. Had we have known then what we know now, Keating would have got a couple more votes. At least he wasn't a nationalist.

A Jihad on all polititians.

Mr Duncan Emelio Corducci is a PROUD CANBERRAN. Mr Corducci can reveal that Keating says these random, stupid things for the following reasons:

1. He is bored

2. He loves to stir the pot because he now has nothing to lose (except his integrity which he lost a long time ago anyway)

3.He is a twit.
