Lord Biscuit©:
The TTAShit thread is getting bogged down in peoples lame theories.

Here's one to get us started.

The nature of some things change simply by being observed, meaning their previous nature can never be observed.

Waltrow:
Unless of course you go back to the first of 650 odd pages and read each post... fuck that.

Well, there are some things that can't be observed very well...Uncertaincy principle and all that.

The Rogue Doll:
Yeah, apologies for that.

I'd agree with that theory. From memory, they were having that problem in science when they were trying to monitor atoms or something.

Pretty amazing really, just drilled down, put 'em in, turned 'em on and after a certain amount of tweaking the tick was gone.  They had to do it while they were awake so that they could tell when they had the correct section of brain.

But the doc was treated as a quack by all other docs because it was experimental.

I remember seeing a documentary where they attached something a mouse, including a camera and they were able to remotely control the mouse by triggering some pleasure receptors or something - it was ages ago and I don't really remember.

They were saying that it would be useful to send the mouse down into wreckages like the Thredbo landslide or September 11 type events to search for survivors.
