Chaser - Future Directions
« on: May 17, 2007, 06:22:08 PM »

So with the Chaser meteor starting to fade, I think it's time to  turn our thoughts to where the boys will head next.

I've already donned my fortune telling hat in another thread...Chris doing the gameshow host thang...Chas being a Playschool presenter...Andrew being an Idol judge...(I forget what I said for Julian and Craig - something equally as shitty though).

So. Where do you think the boys will be in five years?

And who do you think will be the one(s) to continue on their meteoric rise to fame? :)

Five years? I'm much more interested in one year.

Although, Chas'd be wonderful I think as a muppet, and Julian could do Olympic commentating I reckon.
Andrew I think would keep writing musical theater with Chris, and together they will eventually be as big as Gilbert and Sullivan.... or not.
And Craig? Hmmmm, I dunno, most likely doing advertising for that clothing brand 'GAP'.

I'm pretty sure Julian is going to buy a coffee shop in Glebe, right next to Anthony Fields (Wiggles) cafe.

HAHAHAHA. That's the best thing I've heard all day.

I can't see them as anything else... I'm not imaginative though. I could see Chris in the realms of High Culture though, as a novelist, play write... anything that involves wearing a black skivvy.

Maybe take over from Michael Veitch hosting that Sunday Arts show?

...and Chas will work part time on Playschool and promote products for Kellogs on the side.

Im thinking a late night entertainment show by the name of 'Chas Live'!

We could do a six part documentary 'Inside The Life of The Crazy Warehouse Guy' examining the life of one of Australias most troubled entertainers. In this painful and moving documentary we'd be forced to ask the question who is really crazy? The man, or the society which rejects him?

I can already see the dramatic finale...

"ITS JUST HARD SOMETIMES, PEOPLE LOOK AT YOU, YOU KNOW? LIKE, LIKE *TEAR* LIKE YOUR DIFFERENT!"

Or how about.... 'A Craig Affair'? The show where we expose dodgy builders with vendettas against society and offer exclusive totally legitimate wait loss tips for obese children that room the streets.

If that doesn't work why not 'Arts and Farts' with Julian Morrow? C'mon the guy has glasses people he must be cultured.

I see big things people! big things!

Oh and Chris could always get a job cleaning the ABC studio.

They'll be so desperate to stick together in the team unit that they'll make a heart warming, chortle-worthy* sit com about 5 friends who go through the trials and tribulations of life while always retaining that zany** sense of humour*** to get them through the day (episode).

* may or may not be actually chortle-worthy.
** humour may or may not be zany.
*** humour may or may not be humourous.

I didn't say "people need to stick together" did I?

Twas just me not being bothered to think of something individually for all of them. What's better than a sitcom?

looking at who has posted something usually helps.
