Bought = the past tense of buying something

Brought = the past tense of bringing something

Mai shopping list seems to be increasing every few months as the kids turn into adults and eat adult-sized meals.  :x

For example, I just spent $140 at the butcher for a fortnight's worth of meat. I also spent $350 at Coles for what appeared to be nothing more than a few tins of tomatoes, toilet paper and washing powder.

Maj, do yourself and your students a favour and check "brought" and "bought" in a dictionary.

I swear that was a typo.

Spin, if you'd like to hop in my time machine with me, I am currently heading back to the 1970s for some music/film/tv/literary researchy immersion goodness.

The 70s were a bit overrated. Trust me, I was there.

Although the roller skating craze was brill.  :-D

Overrated or not, I'm intending to spend the next 4 years of my life immersed in the 1970s, so I might as well do it properly.

WHY do you want to get a GHD?  Because they cost $200?

And what's wrong with a fan heater for your hair?
