aaaaah - Chas swore us to secrecy.

One thing he said that I can repeat: that he wasn't looking forward to the logies because everyone was expecting them to do something funny.

As for attending... well they're nominated. They'd have to attend.

Honestly, though, it's the perfect place to do a sketch. I mean - a room bursting full of "C list, D list, even E list celebrities" as the Surprise Spruiker told us last year.

I know it's not official ('cause the paper has been writing anything they can possibly think of about the boys recently) but, Check this out.

HAHAHA you don't have to have ANY intelligence to be a journalist nowadays, do you?

Quote
While one source described The Chaser's behaviour as disrespectful, others might argue they added spark to what can be a fairly dull and long ceremony.

How in the HELL could it be "disrespectful"????? Jesus.

The Chaser's War on Everything looks like being one of 2007's ratings success stories, attracting almost 1.4 million viewers after moving to a prime Wednesday night slot.

Oh wow. I didn't know that. SO glad every single article regarding them tells us this.

But on Sunday, "they'll be treated like any other guests and hopefully they'll have a terrific night," a Logies spokeswoman said.

HAHA. Hmm. I shall refrain from comment - other than 'a logies spokeswoman'? hahaha.

Why is the Logies reffered to as the 'night of nights'? I don't know anyone who watches it. I don't understand why the logies people are 'upset' about what happened last year. If it really bothered them, they could have got the security guards to turf Chas.

Quote
Chaser executive producer Julian Morrow was coy about revealing any Logies plans.

"We are setting a challenge to see which Chaser member can kidnap the Gold Logie winner," he joked.

"Also, there are secret plans to find Bindi Irwin and release her from captivity."

Why would they have to attend? :)
They could tell them to stick it :)

I don't get it.

If some plumbing team wins the annual plumbing ratings, does the plumbing association think everyone at home would want to watch it?

Why the hell would anyone want to watch a bunch of TV people, who are just doing their jobs, congratulate themselves in their own little ceremony? Why the hell would these TV type think anyone would want to watch it? (I know the answer to that - ego).

and some cricket awards. Some of the dullest TV of the year. I can't watch any of that crap, Oscars, emmys, grammies, mtv etc etc etc etc.

yeah tgyh was pretty lame most of the time, tho i have to admit i only ever saw it twice, that was enough for me. even if the chaser did win on votes tho i think they would have made a commercial tv show the winner anyway and call the extra votes as "television celebrity influence" or whatever the generic excuse is for these things

TGYH is pretty good, but it doesn't beat chasers.
I'm surprised that they didn't rig it to stay in the good books with the boys. Or maybe they realised after the chaser made their "commercial pilot" that they aren't gonna move.

I'm still really dissapointed that the chsaer didn't do/show any stunts during the night, I watched the whole night and NOTHING! I heard that Craig and Chris got kicked out, they could of shown that!
