Wow you're all (except the jealous one) so nice!  Thanks for the welcome.

I am now off to figure out how to drive this thing (the bandwagon that is).

What's this button here for?

Now now, Yak.  There is no need to expose this new person as a bandwagon jumper and hurl them abuse for it.  I mean, just because they happen to be another cookie-cutter newbie with no sense of self doesn't mean we can't be nice as they flounder about in the forums, offering wonderful and insightful input that lacks so much humour that it saps all hilarity from the entire topic this user happens to post in.  I can think of no greater joy than watching this newbie, bless their cotton socks, make post after post of mind-numbing banality because they believe that the way to fit in on these forums is to have a high post count.

Now I would love to be proved wrong here, but I think we all know I'm spot-on.  The most remarkable thing about bandwagon newbies is that they're all the same.  It's like adding a bunch of clones to this freak circus; and all we get to do is watch on in horror as they attempt to be funny fallinging over themselves.

Welcome to the forums, you gorgeous shitkicking abyss of humour.

I would be SO interested to know how YOU know that this person is a bandwagon jumper. She's hardly said anything. Her profile says she's a 47 year old woman from Sydney, for all we know she's been reading the newspaper since the beginning anyway.

And I suppose you've been carefully watching her posts to make notes on the 'lack of humour' in them?

Spot on, Keridwen. Well, sort of. I did read the newspaper - however not until 2003 when I first discovered it.

Hehehe, OK, I think we've established that you're not a fangirl... unless you hit "4" instead of "1" (well, it is only one button away on the numeric keypad)...

Anyway, welcome - and tho it's not original I will also say - nice username

For all you know she is actually a he at 60 years of age in big white fucking wide fronts and a penchant for young kiddies who has been watching the young chaser girl chickies.

Never assume.

I am sorry Keri I will go buy whatsherface some flowers now please stop being angry with me I will never assume again oh please spare me from your e-wrath.  :(:(:(

Shut the fuck up, tool.  :D  FM has had a warmer welcome than GC, and to top it all off she even has the chance to prove the nay-sayers all wrong.

Besides, if she can't stand a burn like that, I can't wait to see what happens if she tangles with Fades or SG.

My guess is that she'll just be another cookie-cutter newbie who will fade into inactive obscurity.  She'll be a more borish version of Mez.  :D

It's funny how I come up in conversations... it's this age thing again, isn't it Nate? Anyone over 30 is just like GC? Admit it, darling, you really have the hots for us oldies and the only way to assuage that feeling is to attack us in every conceivable way. Just like in school when you used to hit the boys because deep down you wanted to shag them.

Who says she can't stand the "burn"?

And ignorance flourishing - what does the term "cookie cutter" mean in that context? Is it as simple as it seems or is there some deeper meaning?

Well I don't get why anyone has to get "burned" at all?  Why can't we just discuss things in a friendly manner?  It's just plain bad manners, and a little sad to see people treat others so poorly.  Something must have happened in your lives to make you so bitter and nasty.

I just registered on this forum to discuss a show I enjoy, no one is going to run me off, I'll just ignore the sick, sad sorry ones.  Perhaps if you had a cat as your avatar you might cheer up a little.

Foxy, unfortunately this is what this forum is like. For some strange reason we have a few guys around here who like to throw their weight around and prove themselves on some invisible and nasty macho scale.

Every so often though, I think it's good to hassle them back.

Nate's actually a sweet young man IRL, and sometimes on here he can surprise us all. He just likes to make noise and beat his chest.

Enjoy the forum.
