I'm sick of the lack of respect that people have towards other peoples tastes in music.

PEOPLE ARE DIFFERENT. GET IT INTO YOUR FUCKING BRAIN. Not everyone likes the same things... duh. I hat brussle sprouts, some people love them. Just like I like some less accepted( even though 'pop' :|) bands, like... My Chemical Romance, and a vast majority of people hate me for it. They're allowed to hate me for it, knock yourself out, but doesn't anyone else think that yelling out abuse about it any time they walk past is too much? Or if you don't like a certain band, is anyone else sick of being told of what they should or shouldn't like? Because it's driving me fucking insane.

To co-exist as human beings, there's gotta be respect for each other, and when it comes to different genres and bands, I find some people are absolute dogs, and I can't stand it.

Thats the beauty of being apathetic. I just don't care what you listen to. Sure, My Chemical Romance suck, but do I care if you listen to them? Nope. Doesn't hurt me or anyone else, so I can't see why people make a big deal out of it.

(aka I agree).

When you were a kid, you were, no doubt, always worried as to where your next meal was coming from, hey Bikkie?

My Chemical Romance impressed me when I saw them live as the backup band for Green Day.

Meh, you'll get it everywhere, Kelch. There's always going to be some fucktard who disagrees with you and is very verbally abusive about their opinions (just look at the natefritzpertinaxfadeawaysg types on this forum). You just have to believe in yourself and your choices, and stick by them. And sometimes the line, "Let's agree to disagree" is helpful.

So, who's going to hassle me for my Prince, A-Ha and George Michael obsession?

Do you have a "I'm a pretentious wanker that listens to XXXX" tshirt or something?
