Countdown LIVE 24hr webcast!

A clear booth, the "Box of Doom", has been set up at the entrance of ABC TV studios in Sydney: 700 Harris Street, Ultimo (nr Central Station).

Officially you have to fill out the webform to be a countdown box volunteer (they contact you to set up your session) but the chickie in there at the moment said you can just rock up for a 2hr stint... but obviously the ones that are booked will get get in as scheduled.  Still you can have a gawk anyway and get into the back of shot.

It seems special skills are encouraged  :-P  sing, juggle, recite, paint...  whatever, to while away the hours...   

If you do a sitting you can go to the first ep taping next week.

Apparently the boys pop in to join the punters intermittently with occasional celeb guests. 


Chas is back in @ 7.45 tomorrow (Fri 16/3) morning. 

It's all a bit anthro performance arty ain't it. Another Chaser first!

There's a poor girl in there now who is just reading the countdown timer... She's like a robot. 

Seems she doesn't know she can talk about anything she likes. She's got 2 hours of this...

I think a family member, Asher, was just outside the booth with his friends and the cutie in there was so excited that he finally got to speak to her... mobile to mobile through the glass.
