Serbia fined for racism

    From staff reporters
    July 13, 2007

UEFA has fined the Serbian football federation €24,000 ($38,000) in penalties for the racist language of its players and fans against England in a European Under-21 Championship match last month.

UEFA said it fined the federation because Serbian fans started racially taunting England's black players after England had scored the second goal in its 2-0 win on June 17 in Nijmegen, Netherlands.

It also took into account the improper conduct of Serbia's players after the goal.

The federation has three days to appeal.

The English FA has also been fined €3000 ($A4750) for the improper conduct of its players after the match. That decision is final.

More Serbian nationalism. As a Bosniak, who lost uncles and a grandfather at Srebrenica, please tell me how was it justice. Please tell me how the beheading of children was justice? The mass rape? The concentration camps run by Serb monsters(You might think me racist for saying that, but they were monsters in human form.)was justice? It had nothing to do revenge, they wanted a Greater Serbia.
