Go off on a tangent from the previous post.
« on: October 18, 2006, 12:19:26 PM »

What with all the "previous post" threads, this one is about continuing on from the previous post's topic but go off on a tangent and end up with something only vaguely realted to the topic you started with.

This topic will probably get deleted. I know it. It's because I'm a fuckwit, isn't it. People are always deleting posts of fuckwits. Fuckwits can be funny, you know. But no, the mods hate fuckwits. That's why Nate got banned. He's the biggest fuckwit of us all...

Well, you could say that, but in fact, in China, people get paid as low as 45c an hour in some factories!

Shameful, isn't it. Mind you... the things I can do with 45c! It gets me 1/5000th of the way to my model railway. :-)

I like Peco. All the track is cheap. Hornby is overpriced as is Kato. Bloody Japanese...

I am soooo in the mood for sushi for lunch.  Shame there's no decent sushi restaurants around where I work.  But there's no point going out for lunch in any case - the company I work for serves lunch.  I think today is chicken provincale - I had a chat to the catering manager earlier and I think that's what she said.  But anyway, my workplace at least, proves that there is such a thing as a free lunch.  :-)

I get a free lunch though, coz it's Open Day. All those tiny tiny little Year 5s there... aren't they cute? :-)

That reminds me, I'm hungry for red rooster.

Why did Red Rooster stop selling those corn cobs?

They were point-free (in Weight Watchers' speak), and that is just what a dieter needs when she's out and about.

Whatever happened to Dieter Brummer?

Did he enjoy as much success as Bruce Samazan or the musically gifted Melissa Tkautz?

Man, this is non sequitur corner, is it not?

The tree near my driveway is home to several possums.

She did use the word dieter, Merran.  It was linked, however tenuously.

How good was Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, eh?
I think I love the Waste Land more though.

Really?  The land around my house is a waste, that's for sure: it's a desert out there.

My favourite dessert is upside-down cake.

(was that better, Trucka?)

Upside down is a good clue for the 'Who Am I' thread Merran.

My cat makes his tail go puffy when he is angry about things being in his yard.  He is in a choir just like his mummy (me) except his choir practices on the back fence.  Does your wasteland have a back fence?

My dog broke my back fence but hopefully a hot handy man will repair it.

I wonder if you can teach a new dog old tricks?

Speaking of, I heard there was a body double used for Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman.
