For Hammer - things to bring him cheer
« on: January 13, 2012, 09:02:02 PM »

Here ya go, Hammer - this is what I was talking about after lunch today.  By the way, thank you - or your sponsors - for the delicious food!  And I was amazed at how versatile that Kia Carnival is!  Quite a handy little unit for the apres-lunch set.

Corb Lund -Tool for the Job.

Aza recognised himself; maybe you will too!

Edit for extra discretion.   8-)

That's why I tossed up between dedicating it to Aza or you.  But actually, Aza won hands down, if only because he has the space to fill with cars etc.

The other day I was driving down the street in Melbourne where I used to live.  I was pleased to note my old neighbour is still there - he was the guy whose mother had bought the house from the govt dead cheap back in the late 60s when it was a scary slum area - his presence as usual was advertised by a bulging eight-foot wire fence and a yard stuffed with dead car bodies three deep.  He's the local blot on the landscape and everyone in the street hates him, but I found him quite handy to have around.  He kept an eye on our place when we went away.

  Once, when he went on one of his frequent holidays to jail, a bunch of the neighbours went over and cleaned all the trash out of his front yard.  I suspect he was really pissed when he got back; the neatness lasted probably less than a minute.
