I have been looking at Mavericks because of your experience, Mez.

Thal, our house got a bit flooded and some people in Nimbin got cut off because the smaller creeks burst their banks and the bridges overflowed.

Well, it's possible we just got lucky.  IIRC, it cost $5000 in total, including transfer fees, RWC and rego.  It's a 7-seater.  But now I come to think of it, there are at least ten of them still driving around in Bendigo, all the same as ours.  Mavericks don't have the cachet of Land Rovers or even Nissan Patrols, but in fact they ARE Nissan Patrols, just marketed under the Ford Maverick logo.

And I'm telling you, ours drives up trees with ease, and scoffs at dirt roads.  Good luck!

Does anyone know any good mobile broadband suppliers that wont rip you off, actually provide the internet (when you live in the hills/average coverage area) and dont send their customer service calls through india?

The iFacist rarely shows itself outside of virtual reality. However, people are discovering that no matter how implausible, the Virtual you is seen as the Real you by the courts and by prospective employers. Bummer.

Takes way too much effort to sift through a few dozen personalities to find the "real Nick".
