Have you ever had a question that you couldn't answer by googling or finding a relevant book?

Well, make use of the incredible intelligence of (some) of your fellow forum members here!

My first question:  Can anyone tell me what a Tyrolean connection is?

I know it's something to do with drawing a loose association in your brain, but I'd like a full explanation.  Can anybody help?

The Tyroleon connection is related to the 5,200-year-old Tyrolean Ice Man discovered in 1991 in the Otztal Alps.

This ice man provides an connection into brain evolution of the man that did not exist in the past.

What this connection is i can not tell you but that should be enough of a sniff to google further.

Just to obfuscate, consider this if it was used in some kind of metaphorical context (ie, you have fucked up a case, and need to retreat)

Tyrolean traverse is a mountaineering manoeuvre that is very dangerous, and involves traversing between two high points on a single rope strung taut between them. Is often used as a retreat method from isolated pinnacles.

It may be the have used the word connection instead of traverse.  The can both be used in an intersecting kind of way.
