Our new book - over 100 pages of Chaser goodness from the dearly departed newspaper. Coming soon via this website.

AKA a cynical bid to flog old shit to people who don't already have it.

There will be a Chaser Annual 2006 as well, incidentally.

hey don't joke about it. i used to talk in a particular IRC channel some years ago and it had quite an ecclectic bunch of people who used to wander in regularly. one guy ended up self-publishing a book of quotes that had been generated over the course of the year that the channel existed, and he put 10 or so copies in RedEye records in Sydney. They were gone in about two weeks :) Idiot people :)

as an aside...we also generated a 'RootWeb' for the channel, with different coloured lines for different levels of 'intimacy' that occurred between various channel members. by the end of it, it was just a mass of coloured lines (plenty of red ones...which was the 'rooting' colour). quite scary how incestuous an online community can become....and quite amusing to see who had rooted who by proxy :) (and yes, we had a lot of time on our hands - many of us were arts students at the time  :-P )

The History of Australia book has been placed on hold because of the War taking up enormous quantities of our time, but we're still planning to do it.

he,he, yes, I noticed this on the back of the cover, this is in contrast to the alleged 50 years on the front cover ;-)

Oooooh, I can feel a thumping coming on, *cringes*  and ducks for cover ;-) (kidding)

I really liked the Gang rape article, *giggles* particularly the bit about "fracturing her skull with a rock."  :-)

Seriously, it wont disappoint!!:-) A few articles a a tad corny, but most of them are right up my ally!!!

However, buy 2 copies if you don't live alone, honestly, I had to hide the thing , everyone else kept swiping it for themselves!!

I'm going to buy 2 more copies, one for my father, the other for my step father:-)

It's more like 10.5 dog years per human year for the first 2 years, then 4 dog years per human year for each year after.
