Yeah, Hawkey has been out and about during the campaign. My dad has a very funny story about breaking into a mate's house with young Bob during the 70s. Something about climbing through the bathroom window to get at his beer stash. He's a little sketchy on the details, I think they'd already had a beer or eleven before the incident!

I have to go to the Rudd-mobbed shopping centre tomorrow, I hope he's well out of the way!

A mate of mine ran Hawke's golf club. A few of the old biddies would often complain about Hawke's language in the clubhouse, so one day it was up to my mate to tell him to tone it down.

His reaction was something like: "Who the f**k is complaining about my f**king language?"

I never did appreciate Howard when he was PM, but now that he's gone I really appreciate it.

Yeah, he was fun, we should have more leaders like that.  He did save Russia from self destruction though.
