Yeah I know he wasn't my uncle, but I've known him since I met Ex so he's been a part of my life for over 21 years. It is sad.

The saddest thing is that he was always a bit of a hermit - kept to himself, never married, never had kids, never had a relationship with a woman afaik because he had (undiagnosed) Aspergers - so we wouldn't see him for weeks on end. He died in his sleep... about 2-3 weeks ago. And Mr 18 was the one who found his body yesterday morning. *shudder*

And yes, it's a shit about the inheritance. He was totally fucking loaded. Ex is also the Executor and will no doubt come out of this quite rich while I stay poor, even though I helped the uncle a hell of a lot... and trust me, with such serious Aspergers, that was difficult.

Actually, given you have yet to finalise the divorce you have a claim over the inheritance, or perhaps more accurately a claim over Mr GCs share just as he would have a claim over any share you are provided under the will.
