Ok, last night they had a decentish subplot...the guy's mum wrangles some files of an old lday, and then makes friend's with her, despite her son's warnings. they then need lots more files, so he convinces her she has to blackmail her friend to get them, because if it got out she gave her the first file, she'd get in serious troubke
Lots of discussion about ethics and morality, and worrying that the lady will lose her job if caught.
So, at the end, her son simply breaks into the records place and nicks some other stuff, so nobody would suspect her. Making the whole thing completely pointless.
Not to mention discovering the sniper's identity because the number of warning shot fired in the stadium was the same as in a sniper killing various police in another stadium in another country many years ago.
