In the fine traditions of the 'AFR Caption Competition' and the 'Headlines' thread, I thought it might be interesting to see if we could get a similar caption thread going.
Basic idea is to grab a picture from one of our online news websites, and come up with a better caption (a link to the actual story might also be helpful).
Sydney is taking a somewhat archaic approach to fighting off the cane toad invasion.

Another stab from me...
University administration admits that student pranks may have gotten out of hand.
PS: Would one of the moderators be able to change this thread so that it was possible to upload images, rather than just link to web addresses? None of these will make much sense once the SMH starts archiving stories, etc. If it proves popular it might also be good if it could become sticky.
