Au contraire, M. Chamberlain. I am never bored because I
read books!I honestly can't remember ever being bored for longer than it took me to find another book to read.
For someone to win, someone else must lose. I was born without some of the bones that most people have:
1) a diplomacy bone;
2) a competitive bone; and
3) an intellectual modesty bone.
To make up for it, when the kids want me to do something for them, I cry off with the excuse that "I've got a bone in my leg!"
I am not ashamed of any of my bones (or lack of them).
